A devoted small town theater kid growing up and a dedicated haunted house member for over 9 years.
Toilet paper and latex, glue sticks and markers, string and sharpies; possibilities were endless.
My parents were cautious, until my passions for SFX Makeup started to transform in bigger ways. I will always thank my parents for seeing something in my love and admiration for SFX that led them to support me in all the ways that they have. Starting with the first professional Ben Nye makeup kit they bought for little me when I really started to fall in love with the art of SFX Makeup. That first kit started everything.
I started working with Hellscream Haunted House in Colorado soon after discovering SFX at 12. It was a funny story on how I started there and it ended up being some of the best years and memories of my life. I eagerly developed multiple characters over the years, some being more recognizable than others. By the time I parted to come here to LA, I was highly regarded in my haunt among my fellow peers and administration and will always be thankful for the relationships and friendships that I made during these years of my life. As well as the countless scares, the hours of screams, the dedicated ghosts and ghouls, and the endless nightly memories.
I began working under my hairstyling license in Colorado in 2019 and continued working towards my full Cosmetology license, which I received in 2020. After the initial quarantine of the pandemic, I went back to work under my Cosmetology license and continued work as a stylist doing hair. I accepted a promotion opportunity to manage my own salon at the end of 2021 and began managing my own salon just two years after beginning my career of doing hair. I gladly accepted and continued with this position for the next couple of years before moving out to California. Knowing that I was eventually headed for LA, I was able to test for my California Cosmetology license ahead of time so that I can continue to be licensed and work in both states!
I am confident that there is no other place I would rather be to make the monsters of my long awaited dreams! Now that I am situated in the city and recently graduated from Cinema Makeup School, I am eager and ready to start working and continuing to learn and create everything that I possibly can along the way.
